Random George is a character on The Chris Gethard Show whom we know nothing about. Sincerely, neither Chris Gethard nor the filmmaker know who he is. Random George did not break character once over the course of shooting this, and to this day, we do not know anything about his background.

Check out the video “Hanging Out With Random George” that aired last night on our show. Random George is one of the most fascinating elements of our show. We are not kidding or exaggerating when we say we HAVE NO IDEA who is beneath that black suit. Anytime we attempt to hang out with Random George he remains in character and in costume the entire time. It is truly incredible.

As far as we can gather Random George, his translator, and their imprisoned Albanian remain in character their entire lives in the off chance that someone from our show is around. This is not a joke, we have no idea who is behind Random George and we have never seen him drop character.
